The Quest

As some of you may be aware, there's been strange brewings around Hogwarts of late. It is not yet entirely clear what is going on, but a strange announcement by Professor Simpson has led to whispers around the school and there has been more than one discovery of strange artifacts that can only back up the suspicions of the students. Team work is the key as I believe it will take a group effort to overcome the dangers that await...

((This thread is for discussions concerning the Quest. It is important for you to involve your fellow students in your "digging". Do try to get involved. Please include any links to Quest-related posts but do not link to secret rooms, merely explain what you have discovered etc.))

Professor McGonagall said it wouldn't be a bad idea to tell the riddle...

Ahem, anyway this quest, remeber to watch out for the three people who have all ready found it. who were they? Wasn't it Galahad, percivel and someone else? Gawain? Hang on, you mean your not talking about the grail?

In all seriousness, it is rather important you all find this. the very fate of the wizarding world wrests upon you (puny) shoulders. Us teachers will try to help, some more tha others... so stay aware and all that.

Professor Authion Simpson (Head of Gryffindor) has temporarily gone away on a mission of great importance ( ;) ). The "protecting draught" mentioned in the riddle posted previously along with the article in my office (link posted above) will explain more about this recipe he has gone to find.

Now I have returned from my secret mission. But what exactly did I find out whilst I was away? Keep an ear open and you may find out some time soon.

Rowan and I have found an old chest. We're not sure what it contains yet because we're unable to find the key. If anyone sees it, maybe you could let us know?

OK after a recent query about the need to reveal secret discoveries, I have decided that from here on, it is unneccesary to post riddles/articles etc that have been secretly discovered in hidden rooms. Please continue to inform the other students if you have found any such thing, but you do not have to quote the exact words if you feel that your discovery should remain your own.

Hope that makes sense.
